Which is better/more fun??? There is no clear answer, and plenty of opinions.

I can remember the days before snowboarding, and there were always plenty of hotdoggers and youngsters breaking all the rules of etiquette (sp?) They would build a jump so that they could hit it and then hike back to jump again and again. When snowboarding hit the scene, it was this group of people who were the most enthusiastic about boarding, and helped give the sport a tarnished image. There was also a much more lopsided beginner:expert ratio, so skiers would stereotype 'boarders as "out-of-control disrespectful punk @#%^%&**$#@ snowboarders"
