High idle after engine detailing

I just brought my '99 9-3 back from the detailers. I found out they detailed the engine bay. They stated that they are very careful not to spray the "critical areas" of the engine with the high pressure hose. After the cleaning a "coating" was applied which looks like a low-gloss armour all type finish.
The car looks great but it now idles at 2000rpm. The drive home was about 20 minutes. Following the advice of someone from the SAAB Network chat board, I let the car run for an hour with the hood down to dry any residual water. The car still idles at 2000rpm. I'm starting to think that either the water or the applied coating has effected the idle system or computer. What has me concerned is that my dealer stated that SAABs are particularly vulnerable to water entering the engine bay. Any ideas?
