I thought I was going fast from LA to SF on Xmas night. There was some triple digit action, to be sure. I'm a true beliver in rechtsfahren (drive right, pass left), so I was in the right doing somewhere between 95-105 when a red Benz SLK just RAN by me. Truly like an autobahn or autostrada experience. I saw headlights in the side mirror, then a red streak fly by. I was pulling over for gas about 10 miles up the road, and he was there filling up, too. Turns out it was a SLK AMG in red. As he was putting the nozzle back I asked how fast he was going. He just laughed. That Benzo is an elite autobahn machine.

The biggest annoyance of that drive had to be the left lane loafers that refused to move regardless of the lineup behind them, tailgaters, flashing lights, or horns. One prick jammed on his brakes a few cars ahead of me and caused the whole line-up to nearly crash. Why do these idiots hang out in the left lane? I had to give the brake tester the bird as I flew by on the right. Maybe I'll construct a "Drive Right, Pass Left" lighted sign for the top of my windshield that is readable in a rearview mirror.

The funniest part was the ricer that had stickers, jacked down suspension, and a HUGE wing. He wasn't doing more than about 60 in a 70 zone. He "looked" fast, but his POS wasn't able to move it. Maybe cut suspension at high speeds is totally uncomfortable.
