For seafood, as misplacedYankee said, there's Nick's Fish Market -- upscale, excellent service. Somewhat pricey. You're looking at about $120-$140 for dinner, wine and tip.
Shaw's is good seafood too. Not quite as fancy as Nick's but not quite as expensive either.
For steak, there's Ruth's Chris -- very good and better than Morton's in my opinion. Great service. Great food. About the same price as Nick's when it's all said and done.
For Ribs there's a little place in Old Town called Twin Anchors. Family tavern type place. Ever see the movie Return to Me? Some of the restaurant scenes were filmed there.
