trucks, the Camery is still their #1 seller, opposed to the domestic brands and their trucks. America has been known for big power and big dimensions for a long time. Toyota and other Asian imports known for their smaller economy cars. In the late sixties it was all about muscle, Detroit saw the profits less so for the Asians. In the mid 70’s, it was all about economy, the Asian imports saw the profits. In the 90's and in recent years SUV’s and Trucks have been the rage, and the domestic makers again have been doing well. Now, as more and more people are again looking for efficiency, so it's no surprise to me that the Toyota and Honda are continuing to be on the rise. Toyota has done very well for itself in adapting to the market.
