On one of the last screens you see before sending the payment, it will list your bank account as the funding source, and give you a button to click on if you want to change it. The seller can tell how you're paying based on how much of a fee PayPal charges them. That's why some people either won't accept credit cards through PayPal, or make you pay an extra 3% to cover their losses. Sellers (like myself) can really get reamed on a big sale if someone uses a credit card to pay, but the upside is that people are more likely to pay more if they can use a credit card.
