I live on a bumpy dirt road that goes by much smoother at 40 than it does at 15 (anyone who lives on a road like mine can attest to this). So I'm cruisin home tonight and come up on a Focus going 10 or 15. I signal and pass him at probably 20mph. He flips his brights on. For some reason, I bring my car to a stop. He comes up next to me with his window down saying "Are you in that much of a hurry?" like he's my dad or something. I say "What the h***'s your problem?" He asks again and I say I drive 40 because it lessens the rattles in my 9 year old car. He starts to lecture me and I say "why don't you show me your badge, a**hole" and take off (by the way, I happened to come to a stop on the only 50 foot stretch of blue-groove packed dirt on the road, so I took off with a nice tire chirp, nicer than ever could have even ben foleyed in if it were on film). He starts cussing a drives off. I'm going up my road when I see him turn around and come after me. I go home, ready to kick him off my property, but he didn't see me turn into my hidden driveway.

What's up with that? How would you have responded to this attack? I've lived on this road forever and am always polite to everyone I pass, and everyone who passes me. It just had me a little wound up.
