Wherever your cable wiring gets distributed in the house, go start upplugging TV coax wires till the signal clears up and things work again. You probably did something to a piece of coax somewhere in the wiring upgrade. If you ran a piece of RG6 from the cable network interface block to your cable modem and unplugged everything else and it worked well, it's an inside wiring problem. If it doesn't work well with just one cable and you then have to call customer service, this last step will save you them and you lots of time and questions.
