I use Hertz on all my business travel and have no complaints. I've been in accidents in 2 of their cars and that was painless, too.

Chances are you're getting a 6 cyl Mustang if you get a convertible. They carry T-Birds, but they are probably in the Prestige line with Volvo and Jag. If you get a hardtop, you'll probably end up with a Taurus, or some other Ford or Mazda. I've been able to get Maximas and Camrys with them, and they've forced me into some Pontiacs on 2 occasions. I'd say go for a Maxima if you're stuck with a hardtop.

Their Neverlost system is great if you don't know your way around the bay area. If you spring for a few extra bucks, it may save navigational (therefore spousal?) headaches.

Have fun out here in SF. I just had the top down on my C900T ragtop yesterday!
