it *seems* that this would be a no brainer. The revenue potential is astounding. You get to pull people over every time you get on the road. Make the fine huge. Please.
This will cut drunk driving also. Wino cruising along at 63 in left lane, Schlitzed cruising along at 63 in right lane, both see Crown Vic headlamps/pushbars behind them, both freeze. Pop. Its beautiful.
I would agree that the average left lane hog is either aloof or insecure and looking for something to have a say in. I am a pizza driver. I garner victimization in this regard.
Why must it be that I cannot go out on the road and expect to be impressed by someone else's driving? I can always find disappointment.
