When a wheel sticks and the brake rotor is between the hub and the wheel, the wheel is stuck to the rotor. So with an open style alloy wheel, you can pry the wheel from the rotor. Put a crow bar in there and marks on the back of the alloy wheel spokes matter not and you are not worried about the finish on that rotor either.
