You've already gotten some good pointers on the differences to consider. Now my $.02--
Take me with a grain of salt because I've never driven an Aero, though I have driven my brother's 9-5. On a year and a half into Viggen ownership and LOVIN it. Nope, it's not perfectly poised & yup it's overpowered for the chassis. Just today I rolled the throttle to the floor at about 45mph on a ramp and lost traction. So I upshifted, no big deal. I enjoy the car's unpolished, in-your-face attitude. All that said, it's still a well built car, easy on gas, hauls a ton of cargo, and looks different than my neighbor's car. It's just a fun car. And I'm over 40.
