About 5 months ago I bought a Breitling Watch on eBay and it turned out to be a fake. After trying to contact the seller many times I finally resorted to try and contact other that he had sold to. I found that the other people also got fake watches as well. After contacting eBay I became clear that they were not going to help me out. All they would say is sorry and that they had barred him from selling in the future. This did not help me. I knew where this guy lived so I put in a call to the California Police and reported the fraud, this came with little luck too since I am in Connecticut and they were to lazy to do anything about it.

As a last resort I went to my bank (Used my debt/Visa card to buy the item) and was told that they would not do anything either, since I received something, real or not, there was no fraud on their part. Now I was getting pissed. After a quick call to Visa I was told to go back to my bank and fill out some forms. When I returned to the bank they pretended to not know what I was talking about until I asked to use their phone so I could call Visa and sort it out right there. After hearing that it was amazing how fast they remembered what the forms looked like. (not sure why they really cared) Filled it out and in a week and a half Visa gave me my money back under fraud protection.

I think you will be ok. Just stick with it!!! the bank/Credit Card Co will cover it under fraud (If you have that protection) it is just hard since they like their money just as much as you do.

Good Luck,

Chris.

PS> If I think of anything else I will post it later. it is early, I cant think right now and I am in a class lecture, on a Sat!!! Ahhh!!!!
