in his truck a few weeks ago, the company is self insured and the agent is talking about "totalling" my 88 900T which is in cherry shape except for where it was hit- I have all receipts for the past year- over $4K spent on maintanance/upgrades & repair work at various Indy Saab shops in the Atlanta area.

has anybody been through this situation before- this is a first for me

I wonder if they going to try to give me book value for the car, which is like $1500 or should I lawyer up? the estimates I got go from $2500 to $3K minimum just to fix the body work & several of the indy saab shop owners have told me there are only one or 2 other late model C900's in as cherry shape as mine mechanically & the interior & exterior were/are near perfect- the adjustor even thought the 16 year old paint job was new & I havent even gotten around to waxing it this year
