I just bought a titanuim Skagen on Sunday; it is my third Skagen.
I made 220 raviolis on Easter morning and didn't realize that I was wearing my watch until I was done. The mesh band is a mess with little bits of dough stuffed in the openings. (Note to self: "stainless" does not be "doughless.") I'll get the old one cleaned, but I figured that a new watch with a different color and face was worth $100.
P.S. I priced Skagens in Denmark in 1999 -- they were much pricier there than they are in the States.
