Top of Bob Stupid's... what's it called now? Well, the big tall thing in between downtown and the strip.. It is worth going to the top for an amazing all-encompassing view of Vegas and the buffet there is inexpensive and quite good. You could also get a map and drive just outside of town to Red Rock park. There is some wonderful trail hiking there. I think you hop on Sahara going west, but I can't remember for sure. Fremont Street downtown is now a pedestrian zone, so that's a nice walk I think. You can ride the monorails now from the Sahara all the way to Ballys and then hop across the street to Treasure Island and I think that monorail will take you all the way down to the Luxor... That covers the entire strip! The Blue Man Group is a good show to catch, but starts to get pricey.
Have fun,
-Scott
