If me & my '99 9³ lived in FL, I'd run only M1 15W-50 in it. As long as your startup temps never got below 20°F, you'd be fine. You might see a slight drop in mpg, but protection should be best (for these engines) with this oil. 5W-40 will also give you excellent protection, & you should see zero mpg drop.
Here in Northern Colorado, I've decided to switch from 0W-40 to 5W-40. I want more protection than what I feel the 0W-40 offers, & since our oil goes a full year between changes it sees winter temps below 0°F. If I changed twice a year (like Ian does), then I'd run 15W-50 for 6 mos & 5W-40 for 6 mos.
In reality, ANY Mobil or Amsoil premium synthetic will offer more protection than what most Saab turbo engines get. Any of the choices you're considering will be fantastic!
