Pros:
+ Definitely better looking that a WRX (IMHO)
+ Very short, precise shifter throws
+ Deceptively quick once you're on boost
+ Excellent brakes - hard pedal, good modulation and much, much stronger than my modded 9-3
+ Very good handling with excellent turn-in
+ Very good ride as well
+ Good sound insulation from road noise but yet you can still hear the boxer motor & exhaust
+ Tight body structure
+ AWD - easy to launch and couldn't get the tail to come out (trust me, I tried!)
Cons
- Lag, lag, lag... Nothing happens until 3,000rpms and even then, I didn't get the turbo rush I have in my modded 9-3HOT. If this thing didn't have AWD, I doubt it would get to 60 in the 6.1 seconds quoted by C&D
- Decent interior but my test car didn't have leather so it seemed a little cheap inside. Definitely not on par with the 9-3SS!
- Lots of nose dive under heavy braking
Overall, a nice little package and with the availability of WRX mods out there (my understanbding is that the car does not have Trionic), it could be made into a really fun car!
Regards,
Derek
