I had to think about this for a bit. $150k is not a lot these days. Right now, I have a 9-5 wagon and a Miata, which complement each other nicely. If I were to upgrade the daily drivers:
Option 1:
Cadillac SRX V-8 ($50k)
Honda S2000 ($30k)
Option 2:
Lexus LS400 ($60k)
used Toyota Tacoma (as a beater/hauler) ($3k)
Honda S2000 ($30k)
With the money left over ($57-$70k), I would go to Barrett-Jackson and search out one or more pieces of Americana from the 50s-60s that were great styling successes such as Bill Mitchell's 63-4 Buick Riviera, Elwood Engel's 61-3 Lincoln Continental (preferably a suicide-door convertible) or one of the Virgil Exner Chrysler's. Of course, if a good Mercedes-Benz 220 SE coupe or cabriolet came along, I could be tempted :-).
If any money was still left over, I liked the idea of setting up a good garage with a lift.
