I did the Orlando Proving Ground last Saturday. All test cars were the same as in Denver. I chose not to drive the Volvo and Jetta as they would never interest me. I agree with most of your observations. I did not however have any problem with handling with the 9-2X Linear. It seemed that this car was the best overall by a long shot for this type of course and driving. The Aero as you descibed was not as much fun as the turbo lag is significant. I can truly say that I have never experienced turbo lag in my 9-5 after this experience with the 9-2 Aero. I was really disappointed in the Mini compated to the Linear. The Linear drove more like I thought the Mini would. The CVT in the Mini is not what I expected as it shifted terribly when doing the speed test. It dropped revs dramatically as it shifted. This test was good for me since I am only interested in an automatic. I will be posting some Linear pictures on my website in a couple of days (site down for construction after crash). I am seriously considering a 9-2X Linear for local driving. Kudos to the folks doing the Proving Ground, they were very hospitable!!!!
