excerpts from Automobile, July issue:
"Saab 9-6: Also known as the Saab Sportility, this full-size sever-seater would be based on the Subaru crossover (see below). It could be added to the Saab lineup as a 2007 model, leaving enough time for the Swedes to craft their own styling." - end.
The "(see below)" in the article refers to the Subie crossover in the link:

it is planned to be built in Lafayette, Indiana and rumored to be called the "Tribeca" based on a larger platform than the new Legacy/OutBack. At the time of the report FHI intended this platform to be exclusive to Subaru. Guess The General convinced them otherwise.
