I have a 2K viggen & my brother has a 04 9-3 aero & a 98 900 SET. I do agree there are definantly some issues with the 9-3's suspension however there are some cheap fixes to the problems.
What tires are on the viggen & how much tread? A good tire will not spin in 1st & 2nd!!
Torque steer....SUCKS!!! I Agree! However there are some factors contributing to this.
1) Tires, you need a tire with a stiff sidewall otheriwse torque steer & tramlining is HORRIBLE!!! Good tires redule torque steer by 40-50%
2) VRK. This $150-300 will further reduce torque steer by 40-50%
I went with toyo proxes 4 & toyo T1s tires for my viggen. I also have the VRK & my torque steer is pretty much gone.
With the ride, I do not thing the ride is to bad at all, then again I am use to my old SPG
My parents have a 99 9-3 convert & by far the worst part of the car is cowl shake. The way the car wiggles over bumps not only when you go over it but a few seconds after you go over it.
I think all 9-3's be it viggen or bas models need the VRK as well as a rear sway bar
