A couple of suggestions... Posted by Clay McNeely [Email] (#497) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Clay McNeely) on Tue, 10 Aug 2004 13:52:15 In Reply to: Recruiters to find a Job, edward bauer, Tue, 10 Aug 2004 13:30:05 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm not able to give much advice from an employer's perspective, but I've been on the employee's side several times. With my last relocation, I used Snelling Personnel Services to find my current job. I was very pleased with the staff there and the whole process went very smoothly. Since I've been hired on permanently here and no longer have any affiliation with Snelling, I do still come in contact with other temps from there. The business that I work for has used Snelling for many many years and they have been nothing but satisfied. Of course, this can differ quite a bit from office to office and contact person to contact person. We have a long-standing relationship with Snelling, though, and I'm sure that helps a lot, as well.
When I was searching for a job last year, I also tried AppleOne. Their process was thorough and smooth, as well. Based on my brief experience with them, I would offer my recommendation.
My finacee's granddad owns his own business and has used Century II Staffing, Inc. for many decades. I believe this is a Tennessee-only entity, but I know that he has been very satisfied throughout the years. Again, I recommend them.
Staffing agencies have it pretty rough out in the world. They have all sorts of people coming in, some dreaming a bit bigger than they should. Regardless, there are recruiters out there that try extremely hard to find the perfect match. I suppose the only tried and true way to find the best staffing agency is a little trial and error. I realize my suggestions may not be a lot of help, but hopefully I've been able to offer a little insight. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Good luck! Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
