The drive is a beautiful scenic route spoiled by the over cautious park rangers that give you a laundry list of things to "watch out" for as you drive up. Don't put the car in 3rd gear, don't ride the brakes, don't look at the gas gauge, don't enjoy yourself, watch out for on-coming traffic, etc etc.
They need to chill out and let us enjoy our ride up the mountain. It simply beautiful...but coooooold!
