Living in NH for 20 years now, my mom and dad always took us up to ye ol' Mt. Washington. And we never drove up the mountain, i think it was my mothers idea actually hehe. I say enjoy the ride up with the views and what not and leave the worrying and wear and tear up to the Vans, and not your Saab. Once you see the road on which you will be driving you will be thankful your Saab is parked safe at the bottom. Last summer my group of friends and i got the bright idea of driving up...needless to say i ended up driving, not the Viggen but a friends Dad's X5...thank god for BMW's Steptronic, i was pretty nervous! That was the first and last time i did that! Good luck and have fun.
