coquihalla highway in the interior of BC. Esentially is is a 4 lane (2 each way) pass over a mountain range...with 3 20+ km climbs from 4-10% . Pretty high altitude, wide open roads, everybody speedy exceedingly. cops patrol in Z28s (juiced). A fabulous highway to make up time in the summer, fabulous alpine views. but dangerous in the winter with heavy snowfall and ice. it is closed at one time or another almost montly in the winter. I had the unfortunate experience of having to sit for 8 hours in a blizzard at like 6000 feet. brrr....

Cost millions (not as much as teh one you mentioned though), still cost millions to maintain, $10 toll each way.
