and rather were just attempting to repeat what I originally posted, that a video card will free up system memory.
I know that AGP cards are cheap.
Let me reiterate for you, if I want a cheap, inexpensive, out-of-the-box-ready-to-run PC from a reputable manufacturer, the Dell 2400 and 3000 systems don't have AGP slots. Their customer service (on two separate occasions) told me that they are not upgradeable to video cards. I see from their website that they do have 3 PCI slots, I'll assume that PCI cards are a possibility. I was just wondering how well the Intel integrated video's perform for current games.
