I caught that out of the corner of my eye while my wife was watching it. She even watched it at the expense of watching Real World, which must have meant Oprah was pretty riveting television.
My only question was how did all those people find which car in the big lot that their key went too. There must have been lots of chirping remotes and scrambling owners, edited out for the sake of time.
That show's all about product placement and without shame. I have no problems with it though. With my Tivo, we can choose between product placement benefiting society or not wasting our time, or fast forwarding through commercial breaks at 10x speed.
Since the exceptions often prove the rule, I do watch a few commercials for entertainment value - like that Toyota one where the girl videotaped herself rolling her ex's truck off the cliff hoping to wreck it.
