I am not a big fan of NASCAR in the slightest. Though I have tried to learn as much about it as possible because my fiancee loves it, and I'm at the point where I can almost watch a race and know what's going on and who's who, as well as some of the other background stories.
That said, we got the opportunity to attend the NASCAR race in Dover, DE this weekend as VIP guests of Michael Waltrip and the #15 Team.
All I can say is WOW. They were tremendous to us, and gave us a day to remember. It's all still a blur, but we got to watch the race from his pit, after spending the morning with him and his team going to the driver's meeting and the team meeting and whatnot. To top it all off, we got to ride around the track with Michael before the race during the driver introductions. You haven't lived until you've had 150,000 people screaming at you! It was NUTS! So surreal!
Again, I'm not the biggest NASCAR fan, but this was truly something to remember.
Here are two that were taken by their team photographer:

She took hundreds more of her own, and if anyone's interested I'll post them here when she's got them all downloaded.
