Lease return, what are our obligation

I am still a bit off (over one year) until the lease is done on the 9-5 Aero. Originaly we planned on keeping the car, but have decided lately that we will probably return it to get a 9-5 wagon or 9-3 convertible. So what I am curious about is what shape can the car be returned in? There are items (i.e. brakes, suspension) that will probably need to be replaced around that time, so can i just return the car with finished brakes and suspension or do I have repair?
I guess it would be realy inappropriate to swap the turbo and brakes onto my 9-3 project. ;) LOL
Thanks for any advice,
Matthew
