We've also had a 22' LG for about six yrs. It's THE best ladder for anything we've done around the house. We've also got the stand-on shelf & leg leveler, & I highly recommend both of them. The drawbacks? 1) Price! Man, are these things expensive! 2) Weight. It's too heavy for my wife to move around.
Wing also makes a lighter-duty "home version" of the LG, but it's nearly as expensive as the "contractor version" we bought. The Gorilla looks like a nice alternative for my wife to move it around easily, & it's smaller size is probably all we'd need inside the house. Of course, with the LG, all I really have to do is take off the outer legs. That will give us a light-weight 6' A-frame that extends to a 12' straight ladder.
The link discusses Gorilla vs LG about half way down. And don't stop before you read the last comment.
