it is quite a long thread and everybody put in their two cents. I have a couple Citizen eco-drives. Very nice watch and pretty damn tough. They wouldn't be my first choice, but my first choice costs more than my car. If you take a look at citizen make sure that you look at the perpetual calendar. If you are into Swiss brands, you also might be able to find a lower end quartz Tag Heuer for the higher end of your price range. Some friends have Swiss Army watches and they seem pretty nice. If you like the Swiss Army Watches look at the Luminox Navy Seal Watch, very good watch, its tough, neat and certainly in your price range.
