I wasn't bashing you at all, if you felt that way...
The most dealerships do not just sell one car brand. So there shouldn't be a dealership that only sells "saab". Anyway, if they had any idea, they would skip 9-7X and went straight to "hybred" technology instead of wasting the precious R&D money to rebadge Tahoe... smaller car with hybred technology seems sell well in Europe, but that's just my point of view and not well paid GM CEO's...
And I never want Saab to quit buiding sedans either.
911 built the reputation for Porsche. No one would even consider any other Porsche models if they haven't heard the name of "Porsche" thru 911.
Factory has a lot to do with the quality. That's why none of the foreign auto makers doesn't let any other factory built their "premium" models. sure Toyota, Honda, and Nissan all make their cars here, but they don't make Lexus, Acura, and Infinite here. They are imported. I believe BMW is the same way. I doubt their 5, 6, 7 series are built here. VW let it's Mexico plant built Golf, but not Passat because Golf's sales pitch is the price point and Passat's the quality.
Since NAFTA allows free movement of good between N. American countries, why not Saab built it in Mexico? we don't want that do we?
