Small Engine Repair Link Posted by Bill Homer [Email] (#3427) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Bill Homer) on Sun, 26 Dec 2004 15:50:28 In Reply to: OT - Briggs + Stratton, Camm [Profile/Gallery] , Sun, 26 Dec 2004 09:09:21 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
This past summer I repaired my Briggs and Stratton powered lawnmower. I started by looking at this site, determined that it was a bad carburetor (actually a bad gasket/diaphragm in the carb), bought a new one locally for about $5 and installed it easily. Works perfectly, slightly less expensive than the $90+parts tune up available at several local mower repair shops. If you need more help, there are plenty of sites with additional info, including B&S's own site with parts diagrams - you will need to know the engine number, which is located on the engine cover.
