I am definitely leaning towards these as my next tire. The idea of one tire for all year is just too tempting. I have no real need for the ultra high performance summer tires these days, but could definitely use better snow tires. My only concern is the snow/ice performance as the tire gets older.

Currently I have a set of NRW's on my car, on their third season (just put them on two days ago). By the looks of the tread, they are about half worn with roughly 20k miles on them. However, the ice performance was much worse the second season compared to the first, so much degraded as to be almost useless. Can I expect the same from the WR? It's not a huge concern, so long as the snow performance keeps up for the life of the tire, but it would be nice for all of the winter performance to remain. 50k miles out of any tire would be great though, for my car!
