Sorry for the sappy post, but if you can help I would really appreciate it. She snores. Some facts: 1: breathes through her mouth, not nose out of habit I think, she CAN breathe through nose if conscious. 2: Is maybe 10-15 lbs overweight, but thats only her opinion, excess weight I hear can add to the problem. 3: Is very predictable when the snoring starts, you can actually hear when she's dropping into deeper or REM sleep. 4: Is totally deaf once asleep, alarm clock 3 inches from her head and she doesnt even flinch when it goes off, me , I jump instantly. Questions , does anyone know of over the counter aids that really work? A company called GIAM sells an electronic thing that is worn on your wrist and is supposed to train you to breathe correctly etc , 90$ so Im a bit skeptical. I think she has tried the nose/throat sprays and they do not work. Anyone have ideas or experiences shy of going to a sleep clinic, 1000$ and insurance will not cover it, unfortunately. Thanks in advance for all responses.
