None reported here that I have come across, other than maybe price, and orientation of posts requiring slightly longer cables. But the 34R seems to be the one - formerly an Orange top, now standard red top.

I don't have one yet, but that is next on my list of purchases. REM and others have had good success. What problems have you encountered (or read if not applicable) regarding Optima? It would be worth noting.
