They don't want you to get your snow in the street, but they think nothing of filling your drive with the stuff from the street. No sooner than you get the driveway cleared and they come along and fill it in with the heavey hard to remove salt laden stuff from the street. Municipal employees have no incentive to keep the stuff out of driveways. Snow removal contractors would send a pickup around and drag the snow out of the driveways. They won't get the contract next year if there are complaints about snow windrows blocking driveways.
