Had tiny house lots and shared a double width driveway with our neighbor, so no place to put the stuff. Had to blow the snow from 40 feet down the driveway forward, then into my postage stamp front yard. My neighbor did the same into his. One winter we had plies 10 feet high. OTOH, there was no sidewalk and the town didn't plow to the edge of our yard, so we had about 6-8 extra feet of yard to pile snow into.
Hated a big storm when we lived there. And yes, the town would fine you for putting snow into the street. And on a dead end street, the neighbors would get a little testy about it, too.
