I went to RPI and had no trouble getting a job. Based on having a degree from RPI many potential employers were very impressed with that credential alone.
Troy, NY is on the up and up, even though there are no girls still at RPI. well, sort of. There are many more now than in years past. But you can have fun, you just have to know where to look. In fact, I am still right in Troy, (work in Albany) and it has improved amazingly since I first came here almost a decade ago. If you are looking for "girls gone wild" college experience, then leave now. If you want a top notch education, stick it out and go out in Albany and meet some Siena, Sage or SUNY girls.
bets of luck. send me a message if you wanna talk about it more.
