I tried to sell an ABSOLUTELY PERFECT BMW motorcycle a couple of years ago and experienced the same frustration. I asked my friend who is a salesman at the BMW bike dealer what the problem was. He told me that there are three types who have and will call me. The first is just a guy that wants to talk, perhaps a bit lonely. The second is a guy that really does want to buy a motorcycle, but really hasn't made his mind up on a BMW or a corresponding model of Honda, Yamaha, etc. The third guy is a guy who really wants a BMW, knows BMW's, and wants to know about your bike. He expects you to be knowledgable and honest, seeing as how his is also a BMW enthusiast. He (the BMW salesman) was spot on and I ended up selling the bike to a guy two states away. We made an agreement on price via telephone (after may questions and answers and dependent on the fact that the bike was as purported), he came here with a truck, went for a 10-minute ride, came back, paid me and we loaded the bike onto his truck. I got my price and he got a great bike. Hang in there. Your buyer is out there.
