OT: Tri-Fuel Conversion kits for generators.... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Tue, 15 Mar 2005 06:32:31 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a 3500W emergency generator (Harbor Freight special) with a Honda gasoline engine, maybe 6 HP. I would like to convert it to Natural Gas for the convienence of not having to re-fuel it periodically through-out what are typically short term power outages in our area.
Does anyone know a source for tr-fuel conversion kits?
I also plan on installing a small transfer panel with an exterior twist-lok receptacle to connect the generator to my house. I intend to power only my furnace, basement sump pump, one kitchen circuit feeding the 'fridge, and one lighting circuit feeding the baths.
Thanks.
