next few years I sure wouldn't encourage my kids to go into ROTC, Reserves, etc. Not that I have any kids, but if I did... :)
I guess you've already filled-out the FAFSA?
I know in my case I'm still paying-off both subsidized and un-subsidized loans. Made double payments for the first 3 years or so, and don't owe a large amount at this point, but the interest rates are locked-in so low that it just never make sense to really make an issue out of it.
For me it was the next best thing to free money. They're so low that I bet you could borrow and put into a CD or something and actually make money on it.
