I was thinking that same thing the other day!
I saw those compost containers in a catalogue of some sort and thought, "Does that really work or is it a gimick?"
Currently, I put scraps in a large rubbermaid container under the sink and when it fills up, about once or twice a week, I bring it out to the pile and dump it.
I noticed those containers come in stainless and ceramic.
I hope someone writes with some experience using it.
