Actually I thought the Scania truck engine plant in Sodertalle still built the motor, but if it is built in Germany than I don't really see anything wrong with that as the 9-5 is certaily Swedish in execution. For the same reason you can't knock the Aisin Warner tranny.
Purists have an interesting set of values sometimes.
