for one, you can't just buy 5, 10, or 25 cents worth of time. They make you buy $1 or more. I think $2 min... And depending on the area of the street block, max time allowed is different. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also you can't find the meter that still has time left and park in that spot.
They try to tell us that you can use the same parking ticket on different parking spot as long as the time is left on the ticket, but who the heck drive for few blocks to park again? Not many people. We tend to park it and walk around.
Also I have been seeing a lot of car window with these glue on it. If you got tinted window, forget it about it! And how are you supposed to park if you are driving a motorcycle? People just gonna steal your ticket and place it on their car window..
It's a way for them to make more money. First by making you buy more time than you need, and second, by not spending money to collect the change. I agree with the second point, but They shouldn't force us to buy more time than needed.
