We have about 13 people here (up from 3 when I started 4 years ago).
We do primarily low-rise (4 story stick frame) multifamily residential. Some high end, most middle end. 80% for rental communities, but the way things are these days, some owners are converting to condo during the design phase.
Saab+architects? My boss had an NG 900 and now has a 9-5. I don't think he's a Saab freak like myself.
Eternal IDP - I'm 32 and JUST finished. 1 year with a GC, 3 years with an engineering office, and now 4 years with the architect. The thing that killed me was the mandatory "volunteer" hours required. 80 hours is a lot.
Now moving towards contractor/land development. Passed the contractor's exam last year and am currently trying to get an option contract on 2-1/2 acres for residential development. Then I have to form an LLC. Then get insurance. Find some money. Crap!
