listening to XM without engine switch "on"

I had XM installed on my '05 9-3 convertible by the dealer. However, though the radio can be played with the engine off, the XM receiver is not powered on the same circuit, so it cannot be powered unless the engine switch in on. I love to listen to it while waiting in the car, but do not want to keep it running, or keep all systems energized just to do so. Is there a way that the XM can be wired to the radio to be powered on and off with the radio/CD? Thanks to anyone and everyone!
