1. European delivery MSRP is usually not negotiable. It is possible but dealers refuse to do it. However, my salesman did give me a useful gift worth $85 (retail price), something that I would have bought myself.
2. Is there a tax in Sweden and arrival in US? Also state - California? No, just sales tax. They pay customs.
3. When car arrives at dealer, will it charge a prep fee, advertising, doc. fee, etc.? No, SAAB pays the dealer a dealer fee ($300), salesman fee ($50), and prep fee (approx $150-200).
4. Is the first night free hotel also good for purchaser's guests? If they share your bed.
5. Where else do you recommend to see in Sweden, Scandinavia? Everyone's interests vary. Most SAAB owners are interested in SAAB things so see the car musueum (SAAB Bilmuseum) and factory (if open for tours). Volvo has a museum in Arendal, a northern suburb of Gothenburg. There are a number of SAAB fighter planes at the Royal Swedish Air Force Museum near Linkoping.
