...here in the US through my old job, I found them to be amazing. Far superior to VWs and Audis in the same class. Very smooth, solid, perfect ride/handling compromise. I would buy one in a second if it was available here because I would save money. (But since no Opels were available in 1997, I am now hooked on Saabs.) Future Saturns are going to be based on Opels so this is a good thing.
